Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd. “Heat Pump Giveaway” Contest Official Rules & Regulations

1. CONTEST PERIOD

The Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd. “Heat Pump Giveaway” Contest (the “Contest”) begins on May 16, 2025, at 12:00 AM PDT and ends on June 12, 2025, at 11:59 PM PDT (the “Contest Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. 
 
To be eligible:

• Participants must enter through www.acecare.ca/contests during the Contest Period.
• One entry per household. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
• Entrants must be the homeowner or have written permission from the homeowner to install the Prize at the listed property.

Employees of Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd. (the “Sponsor”), Virgin Radio 94.5FM, Bell Media Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members are not eligible to participate.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Contest, participants must:

1. Visit www.acecare.ca/contests during the Contest Period.
2. Complete the entry form with their full name, phone number, and email address. 
   
3. Agree to the Official Rules and opt-in to receive marketing communications from Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd.

No purchase is necessary to enter. Limit of one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period.

4. PRIZE

Grand Prize:

One (1) high-efficiency heat pump system including professional installation, valued up to $20,000 CAD.

• The brand, model, and configuration of the heat pump system will be determined by Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd. based on the specific needs of the winner’s home.
• The prize includes site inspection, equipment, and standard installation.
• Any upgrades, modifications, or additional work required beyond standard installation are not included and may incur additional charges.

The Grand Prize draw will take place on June 13, 2025. The winner will be contacted by phone and email within five (5) business days of the draw. 
 
The odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received prior to the close of the Contest.

5. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

• The Grand Prize winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
• The selected entrant must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize.
• The selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
• If the selected entrant fails to respond, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or fails to return the signed Declaration and Release Form, another entrant will be randomly selected.

6. GRAND PRIZE CONDITIONS

• The Prize has an approximate retail value of up to $20,000 CAD.
• Installation must be completed no later than September 30, 2025.
• Installation must be within the Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd. service area in British Columbia.

Declaration and Release of the Prize Winner

Before being awarded the Prize, the selected entrant must sign and return a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”) confirming:

• Compliance with the Contest Rules.
• Acceptance of the Prize as awarded.
• Release of Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd., Virgin Radio 94.5FM, Bell Media Inc., and all related entities from any liability.

The Release Form will be emailed to the selected entrant. If applicable, the selected entrant must return it within two (2) business days.

If the selected entrant:

• Fails to answer the skill-testing question correctly.
• Does not return the signed Release Form within the required time.
• Does not meet the eligibility requirements or contest terms.

Then the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected by random draw.

7. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES & PUBLICITY RELEASE

By entering the Contest, participants grant Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use their:

• Name, city of residence, voice, image, and likeness.
• Any submitted content for promotional, advertising, and publicity purposes in all media.
  

Participants waive the right to inspect or approve promotional materials and acknowledge they will receive no compensation.

8. CONSENT TO COLLECTION & USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

By entering the Contest, entrants consent to:

• The collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for contest administration and marketing.
• Receiving emails from Pro Ace Heating & Air Conditioning Services Ltd. about services, promotions, and events.
  

Entrants may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email communication. 

9. PRIZE SUBSTITUTION

The Prize (or any portion thereof) is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. 
 
If the Prize becomes unavailable, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
