What is the best furnace for my house?

Furnaces come in different stages: single, two-stage, and modulating.  The best furnaces begin with the ones that have the highest efficiency rating.  Some new high efficiency gas furnaces have a 98% efficiency rating which translates into lower operating costs, a lower incidence of repairs, as well as savings on the consumption of gas and electricity.  The best furnace for your house will depend on the square footage of your house and how much heat you require to maintain your comfort zone.  Our trained technicians will be able to suggest a few options, complete with all detailed costs (parts and labor).  The answer will likely be some variation of a forced air furnace.

What size furnace is optimal for my house?

The answer will depend on the square footage of your house.  Our trained and licensed technicians will be able to calculate the range of furnace options available to maintain your comfort zone throughout the year.  They may be able to provide several suggestions based on the available high efficiency gas furnaces currently in the market, with a complete list of the furnace installation costs (parts and labor) for each one.  Please note that all Pro Ace consultations are completely free of charge.

How long will my new furnace pay for itself?

This is a good question.  You can calculate this from your current cost of furnace operation, projected over the rest of its life span, and an estimate of likely repairs in that time (based on the age of the furnace) compared with the new furnace cost, your savings in energy costs (gas and electricity) and an average of servicing and repairs.  The usual case is that your new high efficiency gas furnace will pay for itself in about five years.  This may even be shorter if your furnace is very old.  Pro Ace Heating and Air Conditioning is always ready to answer these questions over the phone or to visit your home for an on-site evaluation.

How long is a furnace warranty?
